Voting rewards accumulate as blocks are produced, but they are not automatically added to the TRX balance available for transfers. You can check your unclaimed rewards at any time and submit a claim transaction to move them into your account balance. Claiming rewards does not cancel your votes.
What determines your rewards
- The candidate's rank. The top 127 candidates qualify for voting rewards; only the top 27 produce blocks.
- The number of votes you cast and your share of the candidate's total votes.
- The candidate's Brokerage or Voter Reward Ratio.
- The candidate's actual block production performance and the reward parameters in effect for that cycle.
- The maintenance-cycle reward snapshot. Vote changes made during a cycle generally affect reward allocations from the next maintenance cycle.
View and claim your rewards
- Open TRONSCAN and connect the wallet account you used to vote.
-
Go to Governance, then Votes. Check your unclaimed rewards in the rewards section, which includes the “Claim” button.
-
Click “Claim” and review the amount to be claimed.
- Sign the transaction in your wallet and wait for on-chain confirmation. The contract type for a reward claim is WithdrawBalanceContract.
- Once the transaction succeeds, the unclaimed amount decreases and the claimed TRX is added to your available balance.
Limits and common questions
- An account can execute a reward claim transaction at most once every 24 hours. Another attempt before 24 hours have passed will fail.
- You cannot submit a claim transaction when the unclaimed amount is zero.
- Claiming rewards does not change the candidates you vote for or the number of votes allocated to them.
- APR and estimated returns change with vote totals, network parameters, and candidate settings. They do not represent actual or guaranteed returns.
-
If you have just voted or changed your votes, wait until the next maintenance cycle before checking whether the change is reflected in your rewards.
