A newly created TRON account is not yet activated. To activate it, transfer an amount of TRX greater than 0 from an activated account to the new address. The account will be activated once the transaction succeeds. The sender pays the account creation fee and any applicable resource fees separately. Once activated, the account has a free Bandwidth quota of 600. Consumed Bandwidth recovers gradually over 24 hours.
The free Bandwidth quota is governed by the Mainnet getFreeNetLimit chain parameter. Its value was 600 when checked on September 30, 2026, and may change through network governance.
