Thank you for your interest in the public tag feature on TronScan! To ensure the accuracy and security of public tags, all projects requesting to add a public tag must complete the following verification process to confirm ownership of the address. Please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open the Verification Page
Click the following link to access the signature verification tool: TronScan Sign & Verify
Step 2: Choose Signing Method
Select Sign Message.
Step 3: Connect Wallet
Please connect your TronLink/Ledger/WalletConnect wallet before proceed the following steps.
Step 4: Select Your Address
Choose the address for which you wish to add a public tag.
Step 5: Enter the Verification Message
In the Message to Sign field, enter the following text:
I confirm this address belongs to [Replace with Your Project Name].Step 6: Verify and Sign
Carefully review the entered information to ensure accuracy. Once confirmed, click the Sign Message button, and confirm inside your wallet to generate a signed hash.
Step 7: Submit Your Signature
Send the generated signature hash along with the original message used in Step 5 to us for verification. You can submit the request again through the Contact Us page. If you received an email inviting you to complete the verification, you can also reply directly to that email.
Verification Process
Once we receive the signed hash, we will verify the ownership using the address, message, and signed hash. If everything is correct, the public tag will be approved and displayed on the page.
