How to Update Token Basic Information?
To ensure the authenticity of token information, TRONSCAN only allows token issuers to update token details. If you are the issuer and need to update basic information, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Navigate to the Token Page
Taking USDT as an example, locate the “Feedback” entry on the right side of the “Basic Info” module. Hover over “Feedback” to reveal a dropdown menu, then click “Update Token Basic Info”.
Step 2: Connect the Corresponding Wallet Address
Connect the wallet address associated with the token issuer. Select your preferred connection method and click “Connect”.
Step 3: Access the “Update Token” Page
You can update the following: Token Description, Token Logo, Project Official Website, Official Email, Whitepaper, and other social media information.
You cannot update: Contract Address, Contract Name, Contract Creation Date, Contract Creator, Token Name, Token Symbol, Total Supply, Precision, Issuer. This information is on-chain and cannot be modified.
After making changes, click “Next”.
Step 4: Confirm and Submit
After clicking “Submit”, you will be prompted to sign the request in your wallet. This signature is solely to verify your identity as the token issuer; it does not create an on-chain transaction or incur any network fees. You will see a success notification upon signing.
How to Update the Reputation of a Token?
Tokens are classified into 5 reputation levels on TRONSCAN: Unknown, Neutral, OK, Suspicious, and Unsafe. Newly listed tokens default to “Unknown.” The requirements for each level vary. For specific rules, please refer to: TRONSCAN Reputation System.

Taking USDT as an example, locate the “Feedback” entry on the right side of the “Basic Info” module. Hover over “Feedback” to reveal a dropdown menu, then click “Update Token Rating”.
Alternatively, you can access the feedback page via “More -> Feedback” in the navigation bar or the “Contact Us” link at the bottom of the page, then find the “Update Token Rating” option.
Step 2: Submit a Reputation Correction Request
