TRON now supports four token standards: TRC20, TRC721, TRC1155, and TRC10. Before issuing a token, you are recommended to learn about these token standards first.
- Tokens that comply with TRC20, TRC721, or TRC1155 standards are automatically recognized
as tokens upon contract deployment. - TRC10 token information must be submitted manually. The steps are as follows:
Step 1: Connect Wallet (Note: This feature is currently unavailable for Ledger wallets.)
Step 2: Find “Record Token” in "Token - Token Trakcer - Record a Token"
Step 3: Select a token type
Step 4: Record the token information
Take TRC20 tokens as an example. When you deploy a contract on TRON (click to deploy a contract), TRONSCAN will automatically detect and record the new token. To ensure data timeliness, this automatic process may take about 15 minutes. During this period, you can also manually record the token. Please follow the instructions on the page to fill in the “Contract Address”, “Token Introduction”, and other information.
After recording, if you need to update the token information, you can go to “Asset Management” --> “Record a Token”.
