What is a Super Representative?
Overview
Super Representatives (SRs) are the core governance participants in the TRON network. They are responsible for producing blocks, validating transactions, and receiving corresponding rewards. Any TRX holder can vote to elect the Super Representatives they trust.
Note: Reward figures shown are examples only. Please refer to the TronScan Network Parameters page for the latest on-chain parameters.
Role Definitions
The TRON community consists of the following roles:

| Super Representative Candidate | Users who burn 9999 TRX to become eligible for election |
| Super Representative Partner | Candidates ranked 28th–127th by votes received |
| Super Representative (SR) | Top 27 candidates by votes, responsible for block production |
Voting results are tallied every 6 hours (1 Epoch), at which point the Super Representative rankings are updated.
Reward Mechanism
Super Representatives and Partners can earn two types of rewards:

- Voting Rewards: Distributed proportionally among the top 127 candidates based on votes received
- Block Production Rewards: Earned by the top 27 Super Representatives who take turns producing blocks
Reward Distribution: Super Representatives can set a "Voter Reward Ratio" to share a portion of their rewards with users who vote for them. Each SR sets their own ratio, which can be viewed on their details page.
Viewing Super Representative Information
On the TronScan Super Representatives page, you can view detailed information about each Super Representative, including:
- Account address
- Votes received
- Official website URL
- Total blocks produced
- Missed blocks
- Latest block height

Effective Blocks per Epoch
Each Epoch lasts 6 hours, minus 2 blocks for the maintenance period:
Blocks per Epoch = 60 × 60 × 6 ÷ 3 − 2 = 7,198
Voting Rewards
Per Epoch = 128 × 7,198 = 921,344 TRX
Annual = 921,344 × 4 × 365 = 1,345,162,240 TRX
Block Production Rewards
Per Epoch = 8 × 7,198 = 57,584 TRX
Annual = 57,584 × 4 × 365 = 84,072,640 TRX
