Feature Overview
The new "Private Transaction Note" feature enables users to add personalized notes on transactions to manage and track their trades easily. The added notes will be viewable only to the creator on the lists of transactions, transfers, internal transactions, etc., and can be easily managed via account management.
Use Cases
- When making multiple transactions, you can utilize this feature to label and categorize transactions for future reference and efficient management.
- This feature also helps you record specific details about a transaction, such as the purchased product or service, reasons for the purchase, etc.
- When analyzing third-party transactions, you can add private notes to label large, suspicious, or any other transactions you're interested in for further investigation.
Get Started
Transaction Details page
- Go to the "Transaction Details" page of the transaction you're interested in.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and find "Private Note".
- Log into your email account if you haven't done so yet.
- Type in the note, then either click the blank space or press the “Enter” key.
- Your note has been saved successfully!
Transaction Lists
- Go to a transaction list, e.g. the transaction list on the details page of an account.
- Select a transaction and click the plus icon next to "Txn Hash".
- Log into your email account if you haven't done so yet.
- Type in the note, then either click the blank space or press the “Enter” key.
- Your note has been saved successfully!
My Account Management
- Log into your email account if you haven't done so yet.
- Select "Private Txn Notes" from the drop-down list at the top right corner of the page.
- You can now add, edit, or delete your transaction notes on this page.
A few things to note:
- Your private transactions notes are viewable only to you.
- Still, for security purposes, we advise you not to enter any sensitive data such as your password, mnemonic, or private key here.
- Please make sure that the notes you enter do not contain any inappropriate content or violate any guidelines of the platform.
