You can unstake your staked TRX at any time. Once you initiate an unstaking request, your TRX will be available for withdrawal after the 14-day pending period. Taking Energy as an example, below is a step-by-step guide to show you how to unstake your TRX and how it will affect your TRON Power.
Step 1: Go to TRONSCAN and click "Connect Wallet" in the upper-right corner.
Step 2: After your wallet is connected, move your cursor to your wallet address, and then click ">" to the right of "Resources" to go to the "Stake 2.0" page.
Step 3: On the "My Stake" tab, click "Unstake TRX".
Step 4: In the window that appears, "Energy + TRON Power" is selected by default. Enter the amount of TRX you would like to unstake and click "Unstake". Then, sign in your TronLink wallet to submit the transaction.
Step 5: After the transaction is submitted and confirmed on-chain, you need to wait 14 days before you can withdraw your unstaked TRX. This is the Mainnet waiting period as of September 30, 2026, controlled by the getUnfreezeDelayDays chain parameter and subject to change. Refer to the withdrawal time recorded for your unstaking request.
Step 6: After the pending period ends, you can view the amount of TRX available for withdrawal in the "To Be Withdrawn" section. Click "Withdraw" and then, in the pop-up window, click "Confirm". After that, sign in your TronLink wallet to submit the transaction.
Step 7: After the transaction is submitted and confirmed on-chain, the TRX will be withdrawn to your account automatically.
