Dear Users,
On June 30, 2025, TRONSCAN issued the announcement titled "Announcement on Mandatory Requirement of API Key for All Requests", aimed at enhancing service stability and data access security. To further enforce this mechanism, we will introduce the following updates to our API access policy:
1. Enhanced QPS Limits
Effective immediately, requests without an API Key will be subject to stricter rate limiting.
Additionally, certain resource-intensive endpoints—such as proxy resource APIs and contract search APIs—will return a 401 Unauthorized error if accessed without a valid API Key.
2. Final Enforcement Date
Starting from August 31, 2025, we will no longer guarantee the requested rate of QPS for requests made without a valid API Key. From this date forward, it is strongly recommended that all requests include a valid API Key to ensure a successful response.
To avoid any disruption to your services, please ensure you complete the necessary API Key application and integration before the deadline.
